Terms of Service

1. Services

Mithilab (KVK: 99454785) provides AI consulting and development services including custom AI chatbots, workflow automation, and MVP development. These terms govern your use of our website and services.

2. Scope of work

Each project is scoped through a discovery call and confirmed in a written proposal. The proposal defines deliverables, timeline, and pricing. Work begins after the proposal is accepted and the setup fee is paid.

3. Pricing and payment

• Setup fees are due before work begins.
• Monthly retainer fees (where applicable) are billed at the start of each month.
• All prices are in euros (EUR) and exclude VAT where applicable.
• Invoices are payable within 14 days.

4. Satisfaction guarantee

If you are not satisfied with our work, you can request a full refund of the setup fee within 14 days of delivery. Monthly retainer fees are non-refundable but you can cancel at any time with 30 days notice.

5. Intellectual property

• Your content: You retain ownership of all content, data, and materials you provide to us.
• Deliverables: Upon full payment, you own all custom code, designs, and assets we create for you.
• Our tools: We retain rights to our internal tools, frameworks, and methodologies used to build your solution.

6. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue, or data loss. We deliver working solutions and provide support as agreed, but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes.

7. Right of withdrawal

For EU consumers entering into a distance contract, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days of agreeing to a service, without giving any reason (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU). To withdraw, email us at admin@mithilab.ai with a clear statement of your decision. If work has already begun with your explicit consent, you may owe a proportionate amount for services rendered.

8. Website and AI disclaimer

Our AI chat assistant provides general information about our services. It is not a contractual offer. Binding agreements are made through written proposals only. The AI assistant may occasionally produce inaccurate information — it is not a substitute for professional advice. You agree not to misuse our website or attempt to disrupt our services.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved through the courts of the Netherlands. For EU consumers, you may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
